  • How to apply:
  • Start with a light weight moisturizer with SPF protection, or a tinted SPF moisturizer.
  • Use a brush to apply concealer. Be sure it's very close to your skin tone. A dryer concealer with good pigment coverage is best for blemishes.
  • Use your fingers or a cosmetic sponge to apply your foundation, or use a dual finish powder.
  • Powder with a puff or brush to set your makeup. (skip this step if you used a dual finish powder as foundation)Apply powder blush with a brush.
  • Apply cream, or liquid blush with a sponge or your fingers.
  • Keep with soft neutral colors.
  • Eyes: Again, stay with neutral tones - soft browns, champaign, pink. Stay away from too much glitter, but a little shimmer is fine. Use long lasting pencils like the new gel eye color pencils, you can always layer a little powder shadow on top to intensify and set the liner.
  • Lips: Using a skin toned brown, bronze, or pink neutral lip pencil line and fill in entire lip. Add lipstick, blot, add a little more lipstick, blot, and add some gloss to the center of the lower lip and smoosh your lips together. The additional layering, blotting and pencil will keep your lipstick on longer.
    • Freshen up during the day by removing the oil and shine from your face with out removing your makeup with Facial papers from Mon America
    • Invest in a good hair cut, or trim and give your hair some style. Keep it off your face, and neat.
    • Don't overdo your makeup and clothes with avant guard styles either. A sundress, or plunging neckline is hardly office wear. Neither is glitter eyeliner. Bring out your features with neutral, pretty shades that compliment your skin tone.
    • Keep a touch up kit in your desk or purse with facial wipes, a little concealer, translucent powder, a lip pencil, lipstick, and lip treatment. For changing over for the evening, add a little undereye soothing gel like Estee Lauder EyeZone, concealer if needed, smudge in a darker eyeliner, add some mascara and a stronger lipstick. Bring a softer, silkier blouse and you're set to go.
